I am currently a PhD student in Computer Science at Johns Hopkins University, working with Dr. Mathias Unberath in the Advanced Robotics and Computationally Augmented Environments (ARCADE) research group. My research interests focus on applying machine learning and robotics to develop innovative systems that tackle critical healthcare challenges in underserved areas.
In 2025, I earned my bachelor's degree in Computer Science and Engineering from the University of Puerto Rico at Mayagüez. As a member of the Edge Computing Group led by Dr. Wilfredo Lugo, I worked on compressing and optimizing machine learning models for deployment in resource-constrained environments, with an emphasis on healthcare applications.
Outside of research, I enjoy weightlifting, cooking, and spending time back home in Puerto Rico.
